I just got 4 Balance Bikes from Hoozar for teaching bike balancing skills in schools. These bikes have a ton of great features that really make them stand out from the competition.

• The mechanism to stop the handlebars from spinning is straightforward and works like a charm. You wouldn’t believe how often I visit schools to fix broken balance bikes just by turning the handlebars 180 degrees.
• The wheel nuts are rounded with no sharp edges.
• The stem protector is both simple and effective.
• The rear brake is positioned well, keeping it out of the way of little legs.
• The footrest is, once again, simple yet effective.
• Even the bell is built to last, which is a rarity.
• Plus, I really dig the parallel spokes on the wheels.

I’d definitely recommend these bikes and hope they come out with a larger version for older kids.

I wouldn’t even think about a bike that doesn’t have a brake. Sure, the little ones might not use them right away, but our oldest had a balance bike with a brake, and it really helped him gain confidence as he learned.

Those big, chunky tires are fantastic! They seem to give a lot of confidence while still being lightweight.

One thing I wish they offered is a mudguard option. Kids just love splashing in puddles, and having some lightweight fenders would keep the mess to a minimum. I ended up adding a pair from another brand to our bike.

Other than that, it’s just about perfect!

I’ve spent plenty of time riding with my kids and their friends. Having somewhere to rest their feet is super important and really helped my little ones get better fast. Brakes are crucial too, for obvious reasons; this bike has both features and is the only decent quality one I could track down. Awesome piece of gear!! 👌
